Sue was born into a hairdressing family and has been working in the industry since 1995, when she scored the super cool job of hair wash girl at her zio’s salon. She felt quite superior to her teenage friends who had to sport hairnets and ugly polyester uniforms at their part time jobs. From there Sue caught the fashion wave and never looked back. 

She has specialized in advanced colour techniques, creative colour and colour correction since 2002. Having started as an apprentice at Michael’s, Sue is dedicated to mentoring the current apprentices and junior stylists in the fine art of hair colouring and colour correction. During any given appointment with Sue, a client is likely to learn about the ins and outs of their hair while she mentors the apprentices on the finer points of technique and formulation. 

She betters herself through continuing education and enjoys reading about colour theory. Have you ever seen a brightly clad redhead sailing through Clarkson on a yellow bicycle? That’s Sue!
